I founded Vantage Professional Development Inc. over 25 years ago, with the desire to empower associate lawyers to be happier and more effective advisors by learning an applying business skills to their legal practice. 

​

Over the years, I have worked with thousands of associate lawyers across the country educating them in business skills such as client development, business development, financial statements, strategy, customer service, networking, and entrepreneurship.

​

My clients were also interested in becoming more efficient and more effective. As such, time management, delegation and docketing workshops were added to my offering.

​

As the former Director of Continuing Professional Development for the Middlesex Law Association, I know  what it takes to run an outstanding, accredited, profitable CPD program. Under my leadership, the MLA CPD program became an established provider of quality legal programming in the region with over 15 annual programs, hundreds of volunteers, presenters, sponsors, judges and attendees and revenues exceeding $100,000 annually.

I am also committed to sharing basic legal knowledge with post-secondary students, professionals and the public. I am currently a part-time professor at Fanshawe College and a part-time lecturer at the Ivey Business School. Every day, I am energized by my students and strive to provide them with an exceptional learning experience.

In my spare time, our family volunteers with the Children's Health Foundation in London.
